Frequently Asked Questions

Where did the name "Solstice Health" come from?

Picture this: it's late-June and the sun is still shining past 8:00 PM. It’s the summer solstice and the sun is at its peak. You’re at the beach with your friends, feeling happy, healthy, and energized. At Solstice Health, we aim to embody this feeling year-round, using a root-cause approach to help our clients reach their peak.

What kind of lab tests do you use?

We use functional, root-cause lab tests designed to uncover imbalances and underlying health issues. These advanced labs analyze a variety of sample types—including saliva, urine, stool, and hair—to provide a more complete picture of your health. These labs can be completed at home, making them convenient and non-invasive.

With functional labs, we’re able to assess key imbalances, including:

  • Deficiencies: minerals, vitamins, neurotransmitters (such as serotonin and dopamine), hormone imbalances (such as testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, and thyroid biomarkers)

  • Toxicities: mold, parasites, bacterial overgrowth, fungal overgrowth (such as candida), heavy metals, high cortisol, inflammatory biomarkers, food sensitivities

  • And more

Please note: All labs we work with are CLIA-certified (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments). This certification ensures that the labs meet rigorous federal standards for quality, accuracy, and reliability. CLIA certification is granted only to labs that adhere to strict guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, ensuring results are consistent and reliable for creating a personalized wellness plan based on the most precise information available.

Do you work with specific symptoms or chronic conditions?

Yes, we work with people experiencing a wide range of symptoms and chronic conditions, but our focus is different. Instead of targeting the symptoms, we look underneath to address potential underlying root causes.

For example, symptoms like brain fog, fatigue, or bloating might seem unrelated but can all stem from the same underlying imbalances—such as mineral deficiencies, gut bacterial or fungal overgrowth, or heavy metal toxicity. If these root causes aren’t addressed, they may trigger a cascade of symptoms throughout the body.

For this reason, we use functional lab testing to identify what’s going on beneath the surface, then build a personalized plan to help rebalance the body (specifically, restoring deficiencies and removing toxicities) holistically.

In which states do you work with clients?
